California Trip

The headline sounds like a tune from the 60s, but I was in the Los Angeles area last week photographing some mall renovations for Omniplan Architects.  

Santa Monica Place, a unique, upscale mall where you can see the ocean while dining on the roof.

Baldwin-Crenshaw, an urban mall that is a center the for redevelopment of the surrounding  area.

Westfield-Culver City

The Crim Theater, Kilgore, Texas

The Crim Theater in downtown Kilgore, Texas.  Built in the 1930s during the East Texas oil boom, it now sits empty, next to the cable television office and the former Kilgore National Bank building.
